Bistro du Midi
- Restaurant
Celebrating the simple ingredients and bold flavors of modern Provençal cuisine and the surrounding region, Bistro du Midi opened in 2010 and has established a reputation as one of Boston’s best dining destinations. Bistro du Midi showcases this regional cuisine in a country chic setting reminiscent of bistros found in the south of France.Provence is often referred to as the “Midi” region, and encompasses the coastal cities from Marseille to Menton, known as the French Riviera, up to Aix-en-Provence further north. The soil, air, sea and climate help to create a cuisine reflecting the beauty of the South of France. The cuisine at Bistro du Midi is seasonal and incorporates only the very best ingredients.Bistro du Midi is a 2-story restaurant located in one of Boston’s most coveted locales, with unrivaled views overlooking the Boston Public Garden. Both the street-level bar and the second floor dining room – with their earth tones, wrought iron, knotty pine floors and burnished bronzes – evoke the Provence countryside. In warmer months a 20-seat patio offers al fresco dining, and the restaurant includes multiple private dining spaces for intimate groups or larger gatherings.Bistro du Midi is open for dinner nightly from 5:00-10:00 p.m. The Café menu is available Monday-Friday 11:30-11:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 3:00-close. Brunch is available Saturday and Sunday 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
