A 27-story hotel in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen, CIVILIAN sits at the crossroads of creativity and community. Renowned architect David Rockwell designed the hotel’s 203 carefully curated accommodations, drawing inspiration from an old-school style dressing room theme, complete with dramatic curtains, stage-like hardware, and marquee lighting characteristic of a theater’s backstage. 

Event spaces include a hidden doorway leading to a Secret Garden, a spiral staircase to the second floor with brick archways separating a series of sophisticated lounge areas, a street-level restaurant, and a rooftop event space set against the Iconic Manhattan skyline.
