Welcome to moto-i, the first sake brewpub outside of Japan and izakaya restaurant located in the heart of the Lyn-Lake neighborhood in Minneapolis, MN. We pride ourselves on providing unique experiences around our house-brewed sake, delicious asian inspired dishes, variety in ambiance, and exceptional service.


We feature Tokyo straight ramen noodles, house-made steamed buns, and a variety of small plates that are guaranteed to please everyone at the table. Our beverage menu includes our current selection of our house-brewed sake and sake flights, specialty cocktails, Japanese spirits, and Minnesota local tap beer, alongside a full bar. The Big Boy Lounge is located on the second level of moto-i. Composed of a private bar, high tops, couches, and floor seating, the lounge transports guests to a back streets of Tokyo. Parties are able to control the music, TV's, and more when renting this space. Whether your group is looking for a cocktail hour or seated dining experience, the Lounge is able to accommodate various different vibes.

Ramen Alley

Ramen Alley is a semi-private dining area located off of moto-i's main dining floor and leads into our sake brewery. With a shuffleboard table located adjacent to the space, guests are able to utilize this space for a electrifying cocktail hour or intimate seated dinner. This space is perfect for your next corporate sake tasting or casual birthday event.

Stryker's Lookout

Stryker's Lookout is our outdoor rooftop patio open each Summer. With a gorgeous view of the Minneapolis skyline, this area is sure to delight guests. Stryker's Lookout is able to accommodate full, half, or partial rentals for Birthdays, corporate happy hours, weddings, graduation parties, and more.
