Space

John Carroll Room

Although the restaurant is not open during the day, we do open for private brunches, luncheons, and daytime receptions using the John Carroll Room, which can seat up to 60 people or stand up to 90 people. Table configurations vary widely in the John Carroll Room. The John Carroll Room is not available for evening events.

Middleburg Room

The Middleburg Room is a fully-private space located on the third level of the restaurant. The room comfortably seats up to 56 people at round tables or up to 24 people at one large conference-style table. With a bar built into the room, this space is ideal for a cocktail reception followed by a seated dinner. Architectural features of the room include a ceiling sheathed in barn siding from the New England countryside dating back to the 1800s, and massive beams from a post-and-beam home in Vermont.

Lower Fitzgerlads

The Lower Fitzgerald's Club Room is a semi-private dining space down a short flight of stairs in the 1789 Bar & Club Room. The table configurations vary in this room. The space comfortably seats up to 16 guests at one table or 22 guests at multiple tables. The Lower Club Room can also be reserved for semi-private cocktail receptions standing up to 30 people.

The Tombs

Situated near the entrance of Georgetown University campus, The Tombs doubles as a sporting saloon and a neighborhood restaurant. Vintage crew and athletic prints, colorful sweeps, high-backed booths, and leaded glass set the tone. Complementing the comfortable surroundings is a simple, affordable menu of burgers, hearty soups and salads, daily specials and house-made desserts.

Upper Fitzgeralds

The Upper Club Room can be reserved for semi-private receptions of up to 70 people. With a portion of the bar and the Upper Club Room set aside for the group, there is ample space to pass and display hors d’oeuvres.

Fitzgerald's

  • Standing: 125
With its mahogany bar and tufted leather seating, the Fitzgerald's Bar & Club Room provides a welcoming lounge atmosphere that is more contemporary to the historical dining rooms next door. The entire space can be bought out for a private reception standing up to 125 people. This is an ideal space for cocktail parties, happy hours, birthday celebrations and corporate receptions.

Wickets

  • Standing: 30
Wickets is decorated in oak paneling with a pickled finish, and on the walls hang 19th century caricatures of English nobles, clergy, generals, ladies and dandies. In the center of the Wickets dining room hangs a three-tiered black metal chandelier with individual lamps and silk shades.
