A dream of third generation pastaio Giuseppe di Martino, CEO & President of Pastificio Di Martino (est. 1912), La Devozione is an ode to pasta brought to life in New York City. Open in the historic Chelsea Market, La Devozione is the heritage pasta company’s first brick-and-mortar experience in the United States. Our multi-concept pasta destination includes a retail shop, coffee & cocktail bar; an elegant, 30-seat oval pasta bar, and more casual dining seating at A Tavola, inviting guests to discover over 126 distinct shapes of our Pastificio Di Martino’s PGI Gragnano pasta first-hand. Translating to "The Devotion" in English with connotations of sanctity and deference, La Devozione is Pastificio Di Martino's coined term for our signature recipe and takes on Italy’s traditional spaghetto al pomodoro.

La Devozione, conceptualized by Giuseppe Di Martino, third generation Owner of renowned Pastificio Di Martino (founded in 1912), and acclaimed Italian Michelin Chef Peppe Guida, is located in the heart of Chelsea Market. The space, designed by Marcello Panza, found of Studio Minimo in Italy, is meant to evoke both the traditional and avant-garde approaches to Neapolitan cuisine that Guiseppe and his Executive Chef Alessio Rossetti, exploit in the unique dishes they serve to their guests. We offer vibrant private and semi-private spaces suitable for any occasion or event. Accommodating groups up to 200, we offer unique spaces each centered around your individual needs.

The Oval

Our fine dining, 30-top seating area, it is an oval shaped table built around two kitchens where our chefs cook live and explain techniques and style of plating of our 126 different shapes of pasta. It reduces the distance between the action and the guests, they can interact with the chef while their dishes are prepared, a true an di intense experience that will change your perception of a dish of pasta. The dishes are presented with custom-made tableware and flatware, and Zalto glassware, all designed to augment the dining experience. The seat are armchair style stools hand made in Italy and comfortable shaped in blue leather for a long and memorable dinner.

This beautiful space teams with bright colors on pasta packages, tins designed by Dolce & Gabbana, ceramics from Solimene Ceramica, south of Naples. Lighting from the ceiling allows a good view of the room, your companions and the beauty of the exquisite food. The four top can accommodate additional 16 seating and offers a more casual vibe.
