A dream of third generation pastaio Giuseppe di Martino, CEO & President of Pastificio Di Martino (est. 1912), La Devozione is an ode to pasta brought to life in New York City. Open in the historic Chelsea Market, La Devozione is the heritage pasta company’s first brick-and-mortar experience in the United States. Our multi-concept pasta destination includes a retail shop, coffee & cocktail bar; an elegant, 30-seat oval pasta bar, and more casual dining seating at A Tavola, inviting guests to discover over 126 distinct shapes of our Pastificio Di Martino’s PGI Gragnano pasta first-hand. Translating to "The Devotion" in English with connotations of sanctity and deference, La Devozione is Pastificio Di Martino's coined term for our signature recipe and takes on Italy’s traditional spaghetto al pomodoro.

La Devozione, conceived by Giuseppe Di Martino — third-generation owner of the renowned Pastificio Di Martino (established in 1912) — together with acclaimed Michelin-starred Italian chef Peppe Guida, is located in the heart of Chelsea Market. The space, designed by Marcello Panza, founder of Studio Minimo in Italy, was created to embody both the traditional and avant-garde expressions of Neapolitan cuisine, which Giuseppe and Executive Chef Alessio Rossetti bring to life through the distinctive dishes served to their guests. We also offer vibrant private and semi-private spaces tailored for any occasion or event. With capacity for up to 200 guests, each area is thoughtfully designed to adapt to your unique needs.

Our fine dining space features a 30-seat oval table built around two open kitchens, where our chefs cook live and share techniques along with their unique plating styles for 126 different shapes of pasta. The design eliminates the distance between guests and the action: you can interact directly with the chefs as your dishes are prepared, making for a vivid, immersive experience that will transform the way you perceive a plate of pasta. Each dish is served on custom-made tableware and flatware, accompanied by Zalto glassware, all crafted to elevate the dining experience. Seating is provided by handcrafted armchair-style stools, upholstered in blue leather for both comfort and elegance, ensuring a long and memorable dinner.

This vibrant space is filled with color — from pasta packages and Dolce & Gabbana–designed tins to handcrafted ceramics from Solimene Ceramica in southern Naples. Overhead lighting illuminates the room beautifully, highlighting both your companions and the artistry of the food. The four-top tables provide seating for an additional 16 guests and create a more relaxed, casual atmosphere.
