Our Captain’s Room can be reserved with a preset menu for parties up to 10 guests. This room is located in a corner of the main dining level, with access to the main dining room, as well as our Private Dining Space. There are floor to ceiling curtains that partitions the open access entryways, to create a more enclosed and intimate setting for your guests. Natural light and vintage brick walls in this space provides an enticingly enjoyable ambiance. A food and beverage minimum does apply.

Our Private Dining Room can be reserved with an open menu for up to 25 guests for dinner events. This area is located within our tastefully appointed main dining room, outfitted with roomy banquettes and exposed brick walls. Seated events only. A food and beverage minimum does apply.

If you wish to host a private event, The Optimist can be closed to the public. A buy out of the restaurant will include: the entire dining room, bar, and patio areas. We offer services for cocktail hour, passed or stationed hors d’oeuvres selections, and a seated lunch or dinner, for up to 110 guests or a reception style event for 250 guests. For buyout events, a food and beverage minimum does apply and is based upon the day and time of the week. Our Chef offers vegetarian and vegan options available for all events, upon request. If there are any dietary re-strictions among the group, please be sure to make the Event Manager aware.
