South Course

The South Course, designed by renowned architect Rees Jones, is a championship-level course with a 250-acre footprint and 18 holes that incorporate historic oak trees and lagoons. The course, which can range between 5,100-7,350 yards, is designed for players of all skill levels and is open to the public daily. In addition, Filmore in the Oaks offers annual passes for avid golfers and group outings for company or philanthropic events.

Main Dining Room

Located in the heart of the club house, the main dining room is an open and blank canvas, ready to be transformed to fit all visions. After entering the room from a large, framed opening, the eye is drawn to the wall of windows with breathtaking views of the golf course, day, and night. The room boasts high ceilings and ample space, making it suitable for both large events and intimate gatherings. Guests can step out onto our wrap-around porch through one of the two exits, where they can sit and enjoy the unparalleled views of the South Course. This space is ideally suited for wedding receptions, dinners, birthdays, meetings, and corporate events.

Ballard Room

The Ballard room is a versatile event space located just off of the main dining room, separated by two sets of sliding doors. Despite its intimate size, the room feels open and spacious thanks in part to the natural light brough in by the wall of windows and high ceilings. Guests can step out onto the covered veranda to enjoy the breeze and stunning views of the golf course. This room is perfect for small gatherings, showers, meetings, birthdays, luncheons, and corporate events. This space is perfect for intimate and personal events.

Azby Room

The Azby Room is a small, yet effective meeting space that is perfect for business meetings and presentations. The room can be accessed from the main hallway or dining room and features a wall of PGA Gulf State Hall of Famers, creating a feeling of importance and achievement. Despite its small, narrow size, it offers a sense of privacy and intimacy. The room is equipped with a TV, making it easy to conduct presentations and other multimedia-based activities. This room is perfect for small and focused meetings, board meetings or intimate corporate events.

Veranda

The Veranda is a tranquil outdoor space, perfect for intimate events such as small brunches or showers. Spanning 2193 square feet, the Veranda wraps around the back of the club house, offering breathtaking views of the 9th and 18th holes. Whether you're starting your day with a sunrise coffee or winding down after a long day of golfing with a cold beverage, the Veranda provides the ideal setting for relaxation. With plenty of seating and heaters to keep you cozy on cooler days, and an awning equipped with fans to keep you cool during the hotter months, you can sit back in one of the rocking chairs and take in the sights and sounds of the Louisiana wildlife.
