This incredibly unique event space in Asheville’s original craft brewery was designed with a polished, industrial chic vibe that allows you to elevate décor as much or as little as you like.With hundreds of events annually, the Event Center at Highland Brewing is one of the most sought-after private event venues in Asheville. We focus on craftsmanship and quality in our beer and our events. The Event Center at Highland Brewing offers indoor and outdoor event areas to accommodate up to 250 guests for seated dinners and 300 guests for cocktail-style receptions. The Event Center features soaring ceilings with natural light that pours in through vast clerestory windows, natural wood bar tops, and a stage with state-of-the-art sound and light equipment. The venue also offers a wedding suite, elevator, catering kitchen and plenty of on-site, paved parking. Seating for up to 275 guests is included in the venue rental as well as bar staff, audio visual support and an event coordinator. Above the Event Center, the spacious 3,000-square-foot Rooftop Beer Garden is an inspiring backdrop for your ceremony or welcome party and boasts 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains with scenic sunsets and a shipping container bar. The newly-opened Barrel Room is perfect for receptions, rehearsal dinners, and weddings under 80 guests. The space features barrel and pallet wood accents, dramatic hanging planters, seating for up to 80 guests, and a private bar with views of our sour and barrel-aged beer. The Barrel Room can be rented on it's own or in conjunction with the Event Center for the "Ultimate Wedding Experience." If you love craft beer, an event at Highland Brewing is the perfect way to celebrate with some of the best beer Asheville has to offer. The Event Center main bar and Rooftop bar feature all 9 year-round Highland brews and seasonal beers on draft. Beer lovers also have the option to request a signature small batch beer to serve at your event. In addition to our beer, we also offer cider, wine by the glass, and a selection of non-alcoholic beverages. You may also request to bring in your own wine selection, which can be served at the event for an additional corkage fee. Glassware for our beverages is included in your venue rental. Highland Brewing does not cater or offer food service. As a result, you have the flexibility to hire the caterer of your choice.
