Blackstar offers a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy great beer and food while taking in the town’s most picturesque view of its beloved Big Mountain. Blackstar was originally built by renowned architect Joe Esherick in 1994, for the purpose of making Blackstar Double Hopped Golden Lager and other fine beers, and served the community of Whitefish for many years. The space covers three floors, including several balconies and a rooftop terrace for the warmer months, and is designed to be conducive to gatherings both large and small, achieving a sense of intimacy in spite of the building’s impressive proportions. With three floors of beautiful event space, the Blackstar team is capable of accomodating any sized party. Blackstar specializes in casual banquet style events that highlight our food menu and our beer made on premise. Our talented staff is able to accomodate the needs of any event planner or host.
