ABOUT SUNDA: Owned by Emmy award winning TV personality, actor, attorney, and serial entrepreneur Billy Dec, Sunda is something to experience on your next Chicago visit.  Named one of Chicago’s Best Restaurants by a collection of top critics and publications and named “Best Sushi in the city of Chicago for 2019,” everyone can find a bite to savor at Sunda New Asian. This longtime hotspot is known for our colorful and inventive Signature Sushi rolls and Unique twists on Traditional Entrees, celebrity-spotting, and an inviting and inclusive dining experience. 

PARTY ROOMS: Our high-energy, sophisticated setting created by globally recognized designer Tony Chi carries over into the 2nd floor loft-style private party rooms to accommodate banquets, reception-style events, parties, and luncheons from 20 to 100 guests.  Book the Entire Party Room (up to 100 guests) for large banquet and receptions. An air-wall separates the party room into two separate completely private event spaces called BBAR (15 – 24 guests) and SOUTH (25 – 60 guests). 

For non-private/semi-private group dining please consider The Veranda Room (up to 28 guests), The Lounge (reception-only up to 40 guests), Chef’s Tables (max of 8 guests), and Communal Tables (14 – 32 guests) all located in the main dining room.

THE GROUP DINING MENUS: Impress your guests with Michelin-recommended, modern Asian cuisine including creative sushi, unrivaled seafood, poultry, beef & pork entrées, marvelous salads, noodle and rice dishes all with creative yet approachable New Asian twists.  Seasonally inspired cocktails, a progressive list of premium sakes, Asian beers, and a well-rounded list of wines and bubbles are a fun match to the group menus.  Our “coursed” group dining menus are customized for your group and served family-style for sharing and tasting to compliment the nature of our Asian cuisine. We even accommodate Gluten Free, Dairy Free, and Vegetarian Dishes.
