Welcome to Epicurean Garage Events at the Flowing Springs Inn.

The Flowing Springs Inn is an 1800s roadside inn constructed over an actual flowing spring. In the early days of the Inn, the spring provided water and cooling for food stocks and today it is tested and pristine drinkable spring water. At the time the Inn was built, it had a small dining and bar room area and four guest rooms upstairs with keepers quarters on the third floor. For many years after its construction (the chimney stone appears to say 1825), the Inn operated in that configuration. Eventually the rooms with shared bathrooms fell out of vogue and the Inn stopped taking guests and became a beloved local eatery. The Inn’s popularity continued to grow and soon followed a variety of expansions from the original stone building, including enclosing the front porch, adding a large bar area with walk-in fireplace, and extensive kitchen expansions.

Today the Inn’s first floor has been lovingly restored to a period luster with eclectic furnishings and decor that would be familiar to an affluent couple during the industrialist period. The gentleman’s hobbies of cars, planes, and boats are a decor theme as he would have been enjoying amazing advancements in the machines he’s fancied. As an inventor and tinkerer himself, he has constructed a flip sign in the foyer where the flyer’s jacket from his time serving in the Air Force hangs. Echo’s of art deco and steam-punk decor throughout the Inn bring in a the feminine side of our imaginary couple occupants. Their love of travel has resulted in many interesting elements gathered from all over the world. While the elements don’t all perfectly fit our timeline, the decor theme is lovely, unique, comfortable, and welcoming.
