The highlight of this room, however, is the captivating “Joe’s” sign, which survived a devastating fire that burned down the original 1937 Original Joe’s location in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood; a jaw-dropping remembrance of a classic time period. Situated at the heart of the restaurant, the Tony Bennett Room is defined by the beautiful aquamarine tiling and art deco metal mermaids. This space features a magnificent soundproof glass door with views directly into the main dining room at one end and window paneling showing a unique perspective of city life unfolding in the historic North Beach neighborhood at the other end. Most notably, this space features sensational window paneling, that offers guests a remarkable view of the historic Washington Square Park; San Francisco’s first city park, established in 1847. Overlooking the park, this section also showcases the breathtaking views of Saint Peter and Paul’s Church, which is famously known for the wedding of the legendary baseball player and illustrious movie starlet, Joe DiMaggio and Marilyn Monroe.
