LLC, the same minds behind Beverley’s and Clifton Club, Green Point is a continuation of its love letter to the South African sea city. Open daily for lunch and dinner as well as weekend brunch, Green Point is named after the beachside neighborhood that the Katz’s brother’s grandparents Rhoda and Oscar lived in. The brother’s version of a modern seafood brasserie, it’s chic, but unfussy. Smart, but with good humor. Green Point is a celebration of hospitality, a spirited space that hums with busyness but encourages guests to sit unhurried and enjoy the atmosphere. Highlights include a raw bar serving shellfish, crudos, tartares, ceviches and a rotation of cocktail oysters sourced from the East Coast and the Gulf, as well as a 20-seat bar meant for lingering over ice cold martinis, cocktails and Champagne.
