Named after the Canje pheasant, national bird of Guyana, Canje pulls inspiration not just from mainland Guyana, but from Jamaica to Puerto Rico, and all the islands in between. Traditional meets modern in this new age Caribbean restaurant, the passion project of Guyanese native Chef Tavel Bristol-Joseph. Canje's menu explores the cooking techniques, ingredients, and many expressions of vibrant food across the entire region.
The space boasts a stunning bar, robust cocktail program and fun wine list focusing on small producers, built to pair with Caribbean flavors.

the patio. This space is not fully private, but does create intimacy
for your group and is removed from the main dining room.

The Canje Private Dining Room is where bold flavors meet big
energy. Designed for fun, it’s got vibrant vibes, a built-in DJ booth,
and a private bar ready to keep the good times flowing. Host a seated
dinner for up to 42 guests or turn it up with a standing party for 75;
complete with passed bites, chef action stations, and plenty of room
to dance. Whether it’s a birthday bash, team celebration,
or just because, this is the spot to make it happen.
Canje Patio

The Canje Patio is a fully covered, secluded space available for private
events while the restaurant is open inside. The patio can host one long
table of up to 22 for seated dinners, or host up to 35 for a standing
cocktail style event with passed bites. The patio has fans and heaters,
and is fully blocked from view of the main dining room, but does
share a window with the Private Dining Room.
