Opened in June 1922, The Tam O'Shanter boasts a rich, storied history and warm, inviting atmosphere that has made it a favorite place for celebrations and events for over 100 years. Whether you're celebrating an anniversary, birthday, or retirement, need a charming wedding venue, or a place to host a business meeting or seminar, we have a variety of indoor & outdoor facilities to meet your needs. From elegant, formal dinners to energetic cocktail hours, we have experience with every occasion you can imagine. Depending on the selected rooms and setup, we can accommodate up to 175 guests. The Tam O'Shanter offers prix fixe coursed menu packages, as well as hors d'oeuvre packages and beverage packages. Our Private Events Team will assist you every step of the way with menu selections, room selections, table setups, and special requests. Bonnie Prince Charlie Room (BPC)

Featuring a charming fireplace, portraits, and richly paneled walls, our most popular indoor room accommodates up to 70 guests and can be combined with the adjoining Atrium to seat up to 90. The BPC is our most versatile room, ideal for almost every type of function. The BPC has doors that close for privacy.

The Guards Room

Appointed with authentic artifacts of Scotland's Royal Guards, this unique room, for up to 50 guests, is an ideal setting for business functions, receptions, and celebrations. The Guards room has doors that close for privacy.

Patio

  • Seated: 50

Our outdoor Patio showcases a cozy fireplace, modeled after the original fireplace that adorned our pub back in the 30's. The Patio seats 50 and allows for 75 standing guests, but can accommodate up to 90 seated guests or 120 standing guests when combined with the Garden.

Garden

  • Seated: 40
  • Standing: 65
With lovely flowers, bushes, and overarching trees, the Garden gives any event a whimsical and bright feeling. Ideal for birthdays, anniversaries, and cocktail receptions. The Garden seats 40 and allows for 65 standing guests, but can accommodate up to 90 seated guests or 120 standing guests when combined with the Patio.
