Bencotto handcrafts 1,000 pounds of pasta each week, breaking a record nobody ever imagined possible. Most likely, Bencotto is the only restaurant, not just in San Diego but in the entire USA and probably in the world, to craft and serve thousands of pounds of handmade pasta. Bencotto won the "Best Italian restaurant" title awarded by San Diego Magazine for 8 years in a row.
