Located throughout our 1,800-acre property is an abundance of recreation for the group to enjoy.  We boast two championship golf  courses, award-winning restaurants, five outdoor swimming pools, 27 miles of paved walking and biking trails, 25 tennis courts, a full-service day spa, bike rentals, fly-fishing, horseback riding and so much more. Activities on the Ranch vary through the seasons,  but there is always something for everyone to enjoy.

Our 50-year-old Lodge has been replaced with a beautiful, new building that debuted in Spring of 2023. The Lodge at Black Butte Ranch features a private indoor and outdoor event space that capitalizes on our iconic Central Oregon views.  From a beautiful walk out of the event space, you will make your way to the edge of the lake, where you can say your vows at one of our two premier ceremony locations. Whether standing beneath the Aspen Grove or before the Sisters Mountains, we offer the perfect backdrop for an  unforgettable experience. Moving up the event lawn, cocktail hour can take place on the expansive event deck with signature cocktails to complement your selections of tray passed and stationed appetizers. The celebration can continue with dinner and dancing  in the event space, where floor to ceiling windows celebrate the stunning mountain views, and your custom menu will showcase delicious, seasonal cuisine with our Northwest influence.

When bringing together your loved ones from across the state, country, or globe, we want to help you create a custom experience at the Ranch.
