Lyla Lila, an expression of Southern European culinary traditions with an emphasis on Italian cuisine, natural wines and curated cocktails.  Lyla Lila was born out of a near decade of friendship between Richards and Streck who immediately bonded over a shared love of Atlanta’s vibrant hospitality industry. In 2018, the duo entered into a culinary partnership, having found an ideal location for a restaurant in the heart of Atlanta’s midtown neighborhood via friend and founder of JPX works, Jarel Portman. During the process of finding the restaurant location, Richards and Streck discovered another personal connection: their daughters shared the same name. “My daughter’s name is Lyla and Billy’s daughter’s middle name is Lila. Both girls were named after their grandmothers, and by using both names it felt like a personal expression of ourselves and our families to the restaurant,” says Richards.
