Gioia means JOY in Italian. Our venue celebrates the Italian-American heritage of New Haven's historic Wooster Square. On our menu, you'll find unfussy Italian dishes, wood-fired specials and pastas made fresh in house. In the evenings after our market closes, we offer a private dining experience starting at 6:30pm for parties of 14-30 people.  We are also happy to discuss full buyouts of the space for larger events.  Coming in the spring of 2024, we will have a rooftop space available as well.
