Tobin’s Market is renowned for its serene atmosphere, emanating from its multi-level indoor and outdoor areas, complete with two bar locations and a courtyard capable of hosting up to 120 guests. 

This unique historic grouping of four Charleston Freedman’s Cottages all share one large gated parcel of land. This closed campus configuration encircles the central courtyard, creating a private open-air space perfectly suited to host all manner of events, from wedding receptions and intimate ceremonies to corporate events, fundraisers, birthday parties, and community gatherings.

The two main event buildings are centered on the property and feature brick fireplaces, high ceilings, gorgeous hardwood floors, service areas, facilities, expanded side and rear porches, and a full bar. Outside, a charming oasis that feels far from the hustle and bustle of downtown life awaits, replete with fairy lights, greenery, cabana lounge areas, and the capacity for live music.

The fully customizable in-house catering menu features a variety of locally sourced items, including fresh seafood and seasonal produce, and our bar service includes local craft beers, wines for every palate, and signature cocktails, which can be customized to fit the theme and style of the event.
